About This Project

Bad Weather was commissioned by Gear House In House to design and deliver something spectacular for the Department of Correctional Services Awards evening.

The key focal point was a 37m wide custom built curved projection screen, which encompassed the entire stage width. The blended surface was used to convey awards titles as well as handle IMAG.

Another key feature was a beautiful honeycomb laser cut paper backdrop which when lit, really brought the stage to life.

Bad Weather also handled all content creation and media playback for the awards ceremony, incorporating bold award animations and beautiful Cape Town scenic time lapses.
