UK multitalented RnB singer and songwriter, Jacob Banks, was the first artist of the year for the In the City event property series. The event was done in collaboration with well-known event curators, Strictly Soul, and provided a diverse line-up that brought the genre alive in the Mother City.

Bad Weather was responsible for advancing, stage design and concept, as well as technical and production coordination.
