For Christmas 2020, Woolworths wanted to include movement and interactivity to their store windows. After several prototypes and concepts, Bad Weather provided 2 different window types which were installed into several flagship Woolworths stores across the country.
One window type included a series of swinging baubles which easily drew the public eye, while the other was aimed at children, where a Christmas jingle would play and African animals would then be revealed within the store window when a shop-goer would stand in front of the window activating the kinetic and interactive display. The two interactive window displays brought magic and Christmas cheer to all who engaged with them.
The “Jungle Bells” window also won 3 awards at the US based Shop! Awards 2020 for Window Design, Sustainability, and Wall Treatment.
