Rocking the Daisies 2018

Rocking The Daisies, South African Premier Music festival once again commissioned Bad Weather to delivery a full creative and technical turnkey production solution for the entire festival.

The vision for this years festival was to create 3 equally sized music genre arenas with iconic stages to match.

With more international artists than ever before it made for an incredible lineup of world class performances.

Each stage was created with a unique theme to encapsulate the arena’s look and feel – namely; The Lost City Stage, The Oasis Stage and The Hotel Soulection Stage.

Bringing in a strong scenic element and using multiple technology elements to help define each stage’s look, such as 3D projection mapping on the Hotel Soulection Stage; a completely immersive beach Pyramid lined with beam lighting and video strips on the The Oasis Stage; to the dynamic and rich stage lighting, towering scenic columns and large video canvas at the Lost City Stage.

Each stage and arena transformed its look from the day into the incredible evenings.

The festival also saw the debut of its own multistage Live Stream. This was a huge step in the production growing into a world class and complete festival property.

Another incredible festival complete and we cannot wait to take it to the next level again in 2019!
